Ju-Do Contracting has an exceptional Health & Safety program and maintain a Certificate of Recognition issued by the Alberta Construction Safety Association. We are also an accredited member of Partnership for Injury Reduction Program.  Ju-Do’s comprehensive Health & Safety Management Program mandates strict adherence to industry standard general safety rules as outlined by OH&S and Alberta legislation. The core elements of our safety program include:

  • Safety auditing.
  • Safety communication (on site daily Tailgate Safety meetings).
  • Site hazard assessment / Task specific safety training.

Training

Our safety staff provide year round training for all employees.  The scope of training ranges from initial orientation to task or site specific courses such as:

  • Standard First Aid
  • Hazard Assessment Training
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods

  • WHMIS 1985 and 2015 Harmonized WHMIS
  • Flag Person Training
  • Confined Space
  • H2S
  • Petroleum Safety Training
  • CSTS, RSTS, PCST
